So, tonight is the Fargo Beer Festival, which is hot on the heels of last night’s Fargo Fest. You gotta think Google is absolutely loving the search terms “Fargo” and “festival” right now.
I would normally have no earthly reason to miss an event with the word “beer” in the title. In fact, I had planned on having a belated birthday meet up at the Beer Festival, but decided against it when I discovered that there’s an $18 cover. I’m not the kind of person who can command such an exorbitant “hangout fee,” so I opted for something on the cheaper side (like, free). But, I would be there otherwise, if only to stand by the Fargo Beer Co. stand and proclaim loudly that I’d never been so delightfully drunk in my entire life, and what do you guys put in this stuff to make it so delicious!?! (#suckup)
At any rate, the Beer Festival, starting up at six this evening outside the Civic Center, allows you to sample some 60-odd beers, eat food, and enjoy our waning summer. All good things.
